This course is suitable for refrigeration plant operators who need to gain thorough knowledge of how an ammonia refrigeration plant operates, its components and maintenance. It also covers safety in the event of an ammonia leak. Ammonia is a toxic gas. Refrigeration plant operators and anyone working around the plant should be aware of the potential hazards and the appropriate action to be taken in the event of an emergency.
The course will be lead by Andrew Pang, Andrew Pang & Associates Pty Ltd. Andrew has been heavily involved in the development of the Industrial Ammonia courses and the extensive delivery of these courses across Australia and New Zealand. Andrew has over 25 years of teaching experience in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, both trade and para-professional areas, and worked on projects for government bodies and private organisations. He has over 10 years of consulting experience providing expertise in the fields of installation and commissioning of various refrigeration and air conditioning plants. His depth of knowledge on ammonia refrigeration has earned him a highly respected status within the industry.
This three day course includes both theoretical and practical components.
